For international students,
• Student Visa application form to download/fill from the Embassy website.
• Make a payment for Thai Student Visa fee and receipt.
• Valid passport (At least 18 months) also submit a photocopy of your passport.
• Proof of sufficient funds to cover the duration of your stay.
• Passport photo
o Dimensions: 4 cm x 6 cm
o White background
o Taken within the last six months.
o Maintain a neutral facial expression, looking straight ahead.
• Letter of Admission the educational institute in Thailand
• Seek approval from the Ministry of Education (for only private institute)
• Registration documents of Thai School or Institution (optional)
• A letter of confirmation from the school in which you are enrolled (Only for an internship)
• If you are applying for a one- year course, then you’ll need a police clearance certificate granted by the authorities in your country of origin (no criminal history).
The Thai diplomatic mission office may request for any additional documents as per their requirements to assess your profile.

The Thai application process:
• Contact the Thailand Embassy for the application form or download it online from their website.
• Collect the required documents and make an appointment for submission of the form and the necessary documents. You may submit in-person or through post (must enclose a pre-paid and self-addressed envelope for posting)
• The application processing may take some time (normally 1 week)
• After the processing is complete, you will be asked to collect your passport and visa.
